Stuff The Bus 2026

Communities In Schools of Cape Fear is calling on companies and community members across the region to help us Stuff The Bus! For more than 25 years, CIS has hosted the region’s largest school supply drive and distributed new items to students in public schools across New Hanover and Pender counties. Our goal is to ensure every student has what they need to enjoy a successful year in school.

Register as a collection site! 

We’re always looking for partners to serve as a collection site for the CIS Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive! The drive kicks off in July and runs through mid-August.

Register to host a Stuff the Bus bin at your neighborhood clubhouse, business, church, or civic organization and collect new school supplies for students across New Hanover and Pender counties! It’s a rewarding way to give back and provide tangible support to students in our community.

Once the Google form is completed, our team will follow up and share the 2026 Stuff the Bus toolkit, featuring signage and best practices to help you promote your campaign!

How to donate new school supplies to local students

1. Visit one of our CIS Bus Stops in mid August and personally stuff your newly purchased items in our school bus!  Click here for a sample supply list.

2. Shop our CIS Amazon Wish List or make a secure, online donation to CIS Cape Fear
