The purpose of the CLASS Program is to provide a safe and supportive environment for middle and high school students who are suspended. Students continue work on their academic assignments while participating in the CLASS program. Staff provide support in social-emotional learning daily, sharing tools to prevent further suspensions.

Students suspended for 3-10 days qualify for the free program. Families must provide their own transportation. This program is funded by New Hanover County Schools, and student meals are included.

CLASS follows the New Hanover County Schools Traditional Calendar and programming runs from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the WIRE, located at 1102 Orange Street.
