Volunteers Needed for 3rd Grade Reading Program!

By on Jan 27, 2020 in Uncategorized |

We’re recruiting volunteers for our PaSS tutoring program, which helps 3rd-grade students prepare for their End of Grade tests. With a record 20 schools participating, your help is needed more than ever this year! You can sign up to work with one student, or more if you want! Students love the relationship they form with their tutor; teachers and schools love the extra support; and, as a volunteer, you will feel good knowing you’ve helped a struggling reader gain confidence. We provide the materials, all you need to do is show up consistently, and have fun with your students! PaSS will begin early-March and run until the first week of June. Please consider volunteering, either by yourself, or as part of a team (from your church, your company, or your civic organization) and help us support our students!  If you have any questions or want to sign up please call 910-343-1901, or...
